The new music documentary “Horn from the Heart, The Paul Butterfield Story,” ( hornfromthe heart.com) will be screening at the Mill Valley Film Festival, 25 Throckmorton Ave, (CA) Oct. 10th @ 6 p.m. at the Sequoia Theater, and Oct. 12th @ the San Rafael Film Center 3 p.m.. Nick, Elvin, Maria Muldaur, Bonnie Raitt, Sam Lay, Butterfield family and many others are interviewed plus great concert footage & super 8 film taken in the 50’s & 60’s by Nick & Sam Lay of clubs in Chicago & of Paul at home in Woodstock, NY.

The film will be followed by a concert featuring the Nick Gravenites Blues Band at the Sweetwater Music Hall, 19 Corte Madera, Mill Valley. doors open at 8, show at 9 p.m. . tickets on sale now, sweetwatermusichall.com.

The film is directed by John Anderson, producer, Sandra Warren.
